Finance Manager - The Logic Factory

The Logic Factory has an opening for an experienced and analytical Finance Manager with strong numerical skills to drive our organization's financial operations and improve the financial performance.

 

Your new challenge

The Finance Manager directs the company's financial health. He/she combines operational and strategic roles, manage accounting and financial control functions, and establishes a financial strategy for the profitable long-term growth of the business.

  • Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets and targets for each business department in all our office locations (NL, UK, USA and India);
  • Assist in company-wide / world-wide budgetary planning;
  • Ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in line in statutory regulations and (tax) legislation;
  • Conduct (financial) feasibility studies to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future;
  • Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed;
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, expenditures and other financial transactions over all our corporate entities;
  • Supervise financial assistants and other employees in the facilitation of day-to-day operations, including tracking financial data, invoicing, payroll, etc.;
  • Support the business with financial planning and analysis strategy as required for running a consultancy business ;
  • Seek out methods and practices to minimize financial risk;
  • Contract and manage (world-wide) accounting services to ensure financial monitoring is up-to-date;
  • Create and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions and accountants;
  • Update and implement financial reports, policies and procedures, including internal controls.

Department & Supervisor: You will report directly to the Executive Board/CEO.

Location: This role is based at TLF’s headquarters in ‘s-Hertogenbosch but we expect you to work with colleagues, customers and suppliers around the world.

Type of Employment: This is a full-time permanent role.

Your profile

  • The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, good strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, exceptional numerical proficiency, and strong leadership skills.
  • The Finance Manager should harmonize financial operations (systems, processes and procedures), develop effective financial strategies, guide efforts towards financial stability, monitor all financial activities, promote revenue growth and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
  • The Finance Manager has an advanced degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field, with several years of (management) experience in a finance role and .
  • They expect that their Finance manager has leadership skills; integrity; honesty; exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; thorough understanding of business principles and practices; superior attention to detail; organizational skills; planning skills; problem-solving skills; research skills; analytical skills; critical thinking skills; computer skills; and multi tasking skills.
  • They expect the candidate to have direct line management experience and excellent command of the English language.
  • The Finance Manager should have the ability to travel regularly to our all our offices, we expect a frequency of once or twice yearly for each of the non-Dutch offices.
  • Additional qualification: In extending the role and duties of the Finance Manager we see international experience, legal experience and experience with other staff departments (HR, IT, Office) as additional qualifications for this role.
