Head of Finance - BAADER Food Systems Netherlands

Your new challenge
This role offers the opportunity to combine financial responsibility with real influence on the business. As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the financial management of the Dutch entity and provide management with the insight needed to make sound decisions. You will work at the intersection of reporting, control, compliance, and financial steering, while also contributing to the further development of the administrative organization.
What makes this role particularly interesting is its breadth and position within the organization. You will be part of a professional finance team of four in the Netherlands and work directly with both local and international stakeholders. Functionally, you will report to the VP Finance & Controlling of BAADER Poultry, while hierarchically reporting to the Managing Director of BAADER Food Systems Netherlands. This gives the role both local visibility and strong international exposure.
Your responsibilities include:

preparing periodic financial statements for local management, group finance, and the holding company

reviewing financial data and ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance

preparing the annual accounts, including the balance sheet and profit and loss account

analysing results and translating them into clear explanations and insights

advising management on financial policy, including liquidity, investments, and budgeting

implementing approved financial policies within the Dutch organization

strengthening the administrative organization and financial procedures

guiding the relevant administrative teams and ensuring effective execution of processes

overseeing credit control, budget control, stock control, and liquidity management
-
ensuring compliance with statutory financial obligations and reporting requirements
-
overseeing financial transactions between the Dutch entity and international branches

You are a finance professional who combines analytical strength with a practical mindset. You bring structure, keep overview, and are comfortable acting as a reliable sparring partner for management in a role with both responsibility and independence.
You likely bring:

a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

strong skills in financial analysis, accounting, and financial modelling

solid experience with SAP

a structured and detail-oriented way of working

strong organizational and problem-solving skills

the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

the confidence to operate in an international and on-site production environment
