Corporate Controller - Aqua Spark
We have a unique job opening for a Corporate Controller at Aqua-Spark! Do you want to join them on their mission to radically change the global aquaculture value chain to healthier more sustainable and more accessible production while generating financial returns for their investors?
Your new challenge
The role
As the Corporate Controller at Aqua-Spark, you will oversee the entire financial process, ensuring a structured and proactive approach to managing our finances. You will be responsible for investment valuations, and reporting, all while contributing to strategic decisions with your financial insights. You will work closely together with their financial administrative assistant and their Chief Risk and Operations Officer.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely, accurate and relevant financial reporting of the fund and the management entities to all stakeholders
- Support the investment managers and investee board members with financial analysis and insights where necessary
- Manage the relationship with the fund administrator (outsourced)
- Full responsibility for the annual reporting
- Manage the operational relationship with the auditor
- Help in developing SFDR compliant reporting
- Implement and maintain a strong control framework

Your profile
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business economics or a related field and RA/RC (or comparable international qualification)
- Previous work experience in a large accountant firm and / or with an investment fund
- Practical knowledge of IAS 28 is highly advantageous
- Fluent in English
